We never back a deck,
we back a Point of View.
Here's ours.
POV: Thinking small is a waste of a good obsession.
Thinking big is non-negotiable. But massive only counts if it matters — if humanity is measurably better because it exists.
POV: If you're not pro-humanity, you're part of the problem.
Every company either moves the world forward or takes up space. We only back the first kind.
POV: Radical optimism is the best strategy.
The world isn’t ending. Right now is the best time in history to build. We have a once-in-a-civilisation opportunity to rewire how humanity operates and write a future that's profoundly positive for all of us.
POV: Obsession outruns opportunism.
Anyone can ride a wave. Progress comes from people with a clear long-term view of what humanity needs and a laser focus on building it.
POV: Impact and ambition are not a trade-off.
The biggest markets hide in the hardest problems. Solving existential challenges isn’t charity — it demands extreme ambition and calls for remarkable scale. Good business isn't an oxymoron, it's the whole point.
Bring your fever dream.
We'll bring the fuel.
Our Point of View: The Deep Dive
Revent started with a simple premise: solving problems that matter for our collective future is not just important but also fucking cool. Reading this, you may be thinking: sure, who doesn’t want to solve a meaningful problem? But think about the last handful of startups you encountered and ask yourself: will it actually matter to the world if any of them succeed? Every company either moves the world forward or takes up space, and if we’re being brutally honest, most of them belong in the second camp.
Taking up space isn’t neutral. If you’re not pro-humanity, you’re part of the problem. We’re looking for the other type of company, started by the other kind of founder: the obsessive on a mission, motivated not just by the promise of fame and fortune but by something bigger. Someone who is not just absurdly talented and unreasonably driven, but has something fundamentally good about them, and wants to leave the world radically better off.
Right now, so many seemingly smart people are saying that the world is done for, that it’s already too late. We think that’s BS. To hell with doom and gloom — we’re feeling outrageously optimistic. There has never been a better time to be an obsessive on a mission. Some think that makes us naive — that the job of a fund is to back whatever wave is cresting. But waves come and go. What lasts is a clear point of view about the world, its present and future. Climate change, shifting demographics, and leaps in AI and robotics are demanding a fundamental redesign of our core operating systems: energy, work, health, and society. The systems civilisation runs on are up for grabs again. That’s an opportunity like no other. This is the best moment in history to build, and the most important companies of the next decades are being built today.
It’s ___ doing ____ and ____ doing _____. And none of it is charity or idealism. The hardest problems attract the most ambitious people and create the biggest markets. Good business isn’t an oxymoron, it’s the whole point.
We know some of you are dreaming far bigger than your massive exit. Thinking small is a waste of a good obsession. And obsessives on a mission should be treated like the phenoms they are, with partners from Day 1 who believe in the mission as much as the return potential.
Revent is that partner. If you’re working on a problem that actually matters for our collective future, we’ve got you — let’s build like 8 billion people depend on it.
